Meghan Markle’s shocking move ‘made palace worry she’s using Prince Harry’

Prince Harry and are back in the headlines, and not for the reasons they might prefer.

A recent exposé published in Vanity Fair, titled “American Hustle,” has put the couple underneath the magnifying glass once again, sparking discussions about their life after stepping back from royal duties five years ago.

This impactful article doesn’t hold back—featuring a slew of accusations regarding what it’s like to work alongside the Duchesses and Duke of Sussex.

While they’ve categorically denied allegations that claim distressing experiences for former employees, one has to wonder: why is this story surfacing now?

This isn’t the first time Vanity Fair has stirred the pot; a previous cover story sent ripples of concern through royal circles.

Back in 2017, Meghan graced the cover of Vanity Fair to celebrate her role in the legal drama Suits.

The cover showcased her allure with the catchy headline, “She’s Just Wild About Harry.”

In that edition, she openly discussed her budding romance with , declaring, “We’re in love.”

But those words raised some eyebrows at Buckingham Palace.

According to Richard Eden from the Daily Mail, that particular cover didn’t sit well with the royals.

A Palace insider remarked that the revelation felt “like a punch to the solar plexus.”

It was out of the ordinary for friends of royal family members to engage in such candid interviews, especially prior to a formal announcement of an engagement.

Both and Princess Diana, for instance, waited until their engagements were officially announced before making public statements.

They were approached through official channels, with strict parameters set around such engagements.

The insider noted, “While there was general happiness for Harry, the article triggered doubts about Meghan’s intentions, suggesting she aimed to gain publicity.”

Interestingly, Meghan herself wasn’t enamored with her 2017 portrayal.

Author Valentine Low, a former royal correspondent for The Times, contends that Meghan was infuriated with her PR team over the final product.

She felt the story cast Harry in a negative light while also featuring unflattering images of her.

Moreover, Meghan took issue with the cover headline, even going as far as calling it “racist.” Low’s book recounts that both she and Harry were disturbed by the reference to “I’m Just Wild About Harry,” a song associated with a blackface performance in a 1939 film.

They reportedly attempted to have the headline edited to remove its racially charged undertones.

In the latest Vanity Fair piece, further claims emerged, including Harry’s underestimation of the fallout from his memoir, “Spare,” and suggestions that Meghan has taken on a ‘parenting’ role in his life.

Additionally, it appears the couple is grappling with a lack of fresh ideas for their Netflix and Spotify endeavors.

This analysis follows closely on the heels of a Hollywood Reporter article labeling Meghan as “Duchess Difficult.”

In a show of solidarity, several current and former staff members came to her defense in a follow-up feature in Us Weekly, asserting their positive experiences working for her.

As the Sussexes navigate these turbulent waters, one can’t help but question: will they ever fully escape the judgment of the media and public?

Though they’ve made efforts to carve out their niche post-royalty, scrutiny continues to loom large over their every move.

Whether they’re using their royal platform for good or simply engaging in a high-stakes game of public relations remains a topic of debate among fans and critics alike.

It’s clear that for Meghan and Harry, the world is watching closely.

They find themselves in a delicate dance between upholding their personal narrative and addressing perceived criticisms from the very institution they sought to distance themselves from.

Only time will tell how this latest chapter unfolds.
