Why Meghan Markle’s Netflix show should be Cancelled: Royal Expert Shares Insights

A royal expert has stepped into the spotlight to discuss the fate of ‘s upcoming Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan,” which is now facing a significant delay.

Originally scheduled to launch on January 15, the debut has been pushed back to March due to the devastating wildfires tearing through California.

The show aims to highlight Markle’s culinary flair, featuring her cooking various dishes and collaborating with her celebrity friends, including Mindy Kaling.

While many are curious about the series, some critics are questioning the Duchess’s timing and intentions behind the delay.

Insiders have shared that for Markle, postponing the launch was an easy choice, given the circumstances gripping her home state.

A source close to Markle mentioned, “It just didn’t sit right with her to air a program filled with joy while so many in California are facing loss.”

This sentiment seems to reflect Markle’s genuine concern about holding a celebration during such a tragic period for others.

Critics, however, are accusing her of seeking to divert attention away from the wildfires.

Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams has expressed his doubts about the show’s potential, labeling its trailer as “superficial and silly.”

He raised an interesting point when he asked, “Will viewers stick around for all eight episodes?”

Fitzwilliams noted that while the series seems targeted at stay-at-home moms, its charm might not be enough to hold their interest.

The expert further elaborated on his concerns, describing the show’s aesthetic—marked by bright colors and exaggerated poses—as reminiscent of a kindergarten art project.

He suggested that the series might struggle to resonate with a broader audience, raising the question of whether “With Love, Meghan” can truly capture public interest.

Considering the series’s delay, Fitzwilliams questioned if it even makes sense to release it later on.

“With California engulfed in chaos, it’s hard to imagine this series being relevant or well-received anytime soon,” he pondered.

He pointedly remarked that if the show were ultimately shelved, it might serve as a fitting consequence for what he perceives as the couple’s ongoing vendetta against the royal family.

Markle and made headlines in 2020 when they stepped back from their roles as senior members of the British Royal Family, relocating to California.

Since then, they’ve shared their story through various platforms, including an eye-opening interview with Oprah and a Netflix docuseries that chronicled their love story.

Despite Fitzwilliams’s skepticism, he acknowledges that devoted fans of Markle and will likely embrace “With Love, Meghan.”

The royal expert remains doubtful, however, about whether the show will find favor among mainstream audiences.

Interestingly, the series is launching amid Markle’s efforts to unveil her lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard.

She has already hinted at this venture by sending gifts, including jars of homemade jam, to celebrities like Kris Jenner and Chrissy Teigen.

Fitzwilliams also noted that members of the British royal family, like and , are unlikely to be viewers.

He speculated that they would remain indifferent to whatever fate awaits the series, especially given the ongoing family strains.

As Markle and Harry strive to support victims of the ongoing wildfires in California, their efforts have not gone unnoticed.

Recently, they were seen distributing food to survivors and engaging with those affected by the natural disaster.

Nevertheless, not all responses have been positive.

Actress Justine Bateman criticized their involvement, branding them as “disaster tourists” looking for a publicity moment.

Word on the street is that the couple found her comments hurtful, especially since Los Angeles is closely tied to Markle’s identity and past.

A source revealed, “It’s deeply offensive for anyone to think their visit was just for show. Los Angeles is home for Meghan, and she holds it close to her heart.”

The path ahead for Markle’s Netflix venture remains uncertain, but her endeavors reflect a mixture of ambition and empathy amidst challenging times.
